About TRZ Battleship
Battleship reduced to its actual mechanic, which is a deduction race on a hidden grid. You call one square per turn while the opponent does the same, and the winner is whoever finishes reading the other person's board first. Nothing else is going on, and nothing else needs to be.
How to play
- Both sides have a fleet placed on a grid the other cannot see.
- On your turn you call a single square on the opponent's grid and learn whether something was there.
- Sink every enemy ship before the opponent sinks yours.
Tips
- After a hit, work along one axis before trying the other. Ships are straight lines, so the second hit hands you the direction for free.
- Search in a spaced pattern rather than sweeping row by row. A ship several squares long cannot slip between shots placed at that interval.
