How to play

• Take turns claiming empty squares on the grid.
• On the standard three by three board, three of your marks in a line wins.
• On the five by five and seven by seven boards you need four in a row instead.
• A full board with no line is a draw.

Tips

• The small board is a draw between two people who are paying attention. Treat it as a warm-up and spend your time on the larger grids.
• On the bigger boards, an open row of two that threatens in both directions is worth more than a row of three with one end already blocked.
