About Supermarket Expert Idle

A supermarket management game with an actual character to walk around, which puts it closer to a shop simulator than to a spreadsheet. You stock departments, work the checkout, and put the money back into more departments and more staff, because more departments mean more income.

How to play

• Move your character with the arrow keys, the W, A, S and D cluster, or the mouse.
• Pick up products from where they are grown or produced and place them in the right department.
• Check customers out at the counter to earn money.
• Open new departments to increase income.
• Use the upgrade menu, and buy helpers to get the work done faster.

Tips

• Buy helpers earlier than feels comfortable. In games with this loop the bottleneck is always your own walking speed, not the money.
• Open a new department only once the existing ones stay stocked. Adding one you cannot service just spreads the same income thinner.
