About Robo-Butcher
An action platformer where you are the counter-weapon: a machine built by the human resistance to destroy other machines after an outpost falls to a robot army. It leans retro deliberately, with pre-rendered graphics and a run-based structure where permanent upgrades carry between attempts.
How to play
- Fight through large numbers of hostile robots as the resistance's purpose-built machine.
- Power-ups appear during a run, while permanent upgrades persist beyond it.
- A double jump is part of your movement, so vertical routes are available to you.
- Enemies arrive in volume rather than as individual set-piece duels.
Tips
- Treat a failed run as a purchase. Permanent upgrades mean progress survives the death that ended the attempt.
- Use the double jump defensively, not just for platforming. In a game this dense with enemies, the air is frequently the safest place to be.
