About Roar of City
An isometric beat em up with cleaner art than most browser brawlers. You work through a criminal gang toward its commander, and the goal is an arrest rather than a body count, which gives it a slightly different shape from the genre it is drawing on.
How to play
- Fight your way through the criminal gang holding the city.
- Move around the isometric space rather than along a single line; depth is a position you can use.
- Reach the gang's commander and arrest him to rescue the city.
Tips
- Isometric brawlers are won on the axis the camera hides. Stepping up or down out of an enemy's line is usually safer than standing and trading.
- Fight groups from the edge rather than from the middle. Getting surrounded is the failure mode of every beat em up, and depth makes it easier to walk into.
