About Intergalactic Battleship
Battleship with an alien fleet painted over it. The hidden grid, the one shot per turn and the slow narrowing of possibilities are all unchanged. Only the setting moved. As deduction games go it is the shortest one that still rewards having a system.
How to play
- Enemy ships are hidden on a grid facing yours.
- Each turn you target a single square and find out whether something was there.
- Destroy the whole enemy fleet before your own is wiped out.
Tips
- Once you land a hit, follow it in a straight line. Ships occupy consecutive squares, so the second hit gives you the direction.
- Sweep diagonally rather than left to right. It covers the board in far fewer shots than a row-by-row search.
