About City Blocks

A match-three that behaves like a zoning board. New buildings arrive, you decide where each one goes, and matching sets collapse into upgraded structures. Space is finite and the game never gives any back, so it plays as a slow squeeze rather than a race.

How to play

• Place each new building somewhere on the map.
• Matching buildings of the same type combine into a single upgraded one.
• Upgrading is how you recover space, since several tiles become one.
• The run ends when there is nowhere left to place what you are handed.

Tips

• Group by type from the first placement. A merge you cannot physically reach is worth exactly as much as no merge at all.
• Keep one lane you never build in. Losing that area is a fair price for always having somewhere to put a building you did not plan for.
