The fit-the-shape grid puzzle in jewel dressing. Blocks are handed to you rather than falling, and rows or columns vanish when they are complete. Phones have run on this format for a decade; this version does it cleanly and adds nothing else, which is a defensible choice.

How to play

• Fit each offered block onto the grid.
• Completing a full row or column clears those cells.
• Clearing lines both ways is available, so a single block can resolve two of them.
• The game ends when the board is too full to accept what you are given next.

Tips

• Clear along the walls first. Corner cells are the hardest to reach once the board tightens, so spending them early is the cheapest they will ever be.
• Do not drop a small block into the middle just because it fits. The centre is worth more as spare capacity for an awkward shape later.
